Dark, Milk, White and now Ruby

Swiss Chocolate giant Barry Callebaut has 'invented' a brand new type of chocolate! For over 80 years we have only had Milk, White and Dark to choose from but now we have Ruby which comes from, as the name suggests, a Ruby coloured cocoa bean. It will be interesting to see how brands use this new bean, the distinctive pink colour means that it can take on a more playful personality. It may appeal to children with it's sweet and fruity taste but brands could have fun with grown up products with a childish twist! Whatever the outcome we are sure it will feature in Christmas stockings this December!!!
