BACK IN THE SADDLE

Writing a blog is a lot like exercise. As soon as you stop it is nigh impossible to start again. The fear of having to go through the pain of starting over paralyses you to such an extent that it is easier not to bother. This is the way I am feeling about this blog which I have been pretty good at keeping regular with up until the New Year.

The whole point of the blog in the first place was to get my long hand writing better, easier and less laborious and not having done any writing for a while makes me question whether I was making progress or not or whether these sort of things ever get easier. I think the same way about exercise and I guess deep down I know that it never really gets easier but it does feel less daunting every time you step onto the keyboard. As we at The Cabinet well know, being a business of just over 18 months, nothing worth doing is easy but at least when you are doing it day in day out the surprise as just how hard it is becomes a little less intense.
