With an award-winning authentic range of Indian sauces and expanding distribution, Punjaban had big ambitions. But generic, bland packaging was holding them back. Leveraging the vibrant cultural and visual influences of the Punjab region - the land of 5 rivers - we created an architecture based on 5 converging rivers which delivered the holding device for the brand name, descriptor, imagery and ingredients. The logotype,
itself is based on distinctive hand-painted signs seen across India.
