Matt & Ellie, The founders of Shortts farm brewery met at a music festival. With the mutual love of music and real ales, after a few watery lagers by the main stage they realised that there was room for a fuller tastier beer to be married with music. Taking this concept on board they asked us to create the next in the range ‘Black Volt’, a milk stout. Taking the platform for artwork in music seemed like a no brainer, the record sleeve is the canvas of the music world. This acts as a layout for future variants, each design inspired from the product truth. This one influenced by the dark world of old rock vinyl covers. Beer with a noise attitude.
