Introducing the Western palate to the luxury taste of The East.
Saké’s failure to connect with audiences in the West has largely been down to inferior products and overly traditional or Japanese-kitsch packaging, meaning its truly wonderful taste and versatility lie undiscovered.
The story behind Toku is one of provenance, liquid quality and ancient craftsmanship. Designed to appeal to drinkers of other luxury spirits, and collaborating with the world's top mixologists, Toku has been instrumental in generating reappraisal of Saké. The premium liquid has to be stored at 5 degrees and pack design showcases this through the use of temperature-sensitive inks, which reveal the design when the Saké is at its optimum chill- level. Exquisite kanji adorns one side while contemporary typography and high-level finishes grace the other, elegantly embodying an East-meets-West juxtaposition.
Launched in London’s most prestigious luxury bars and restaurants to high acclaim.
